Booking Policy

By making a booking, you agree to be bound by our booking and cancellation policies. A 50% deposit is required to secure an appointment time which is fully redeemable on the cost of your treatment. If you are uncomfortable providing these details over the phone, you are welcome to come into the clinic and make a cash deposit or do a bank transfer. A booking is not confirmed until the deposit is paid.

The clinic has the right to refuse a booking if the client has numerous no show’s, an outstanding balance or a history of inappropriate conduct. 

The client’s appointment begins at the allocated booking time, if they are running late the treatment may need to be cut short to ensure the next client is not impacted.

Payment Policy

We accept Eftpos, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cash and Afterpay. Regrettably we don’t accept bank cheques. 

 

We do not hold any personal client accounts, all accounts must be settled on the day of the treatment. No further treatments will be provided until this occurs. If the account is not settled on the day of the treatment and the client leaves the premises without payment, no further services will be booked and the client may be banned from the clinic. In this circumstance we hold the rights to legally pursue this incident.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

We will happily reschedule or cancel your appointment with more than 24 hours notice and refund the deposit.  

 

Cancellations within a 24 hour period of the appointment time will forfeit the 50% deposit. We understand that unforeseen circumstances occur and will attempt to be flexible with this and allow the client to reschedule their appointment when possible. 

 

Clients who do not attend their appointment (no show) without notice will be required to pay the full treatment cost. A client with more than two no shows on their account will be required to pay 100% of their treatment cost upfront for all future appointments.

If no show fees remain unpaid for 3 months or more, any gift card credit that the client has may be used to pay for these fees.

Children In The Clinic

We understand that it can be difficult to have time alone when you are a parent. We would however like to encourage our clients to make the most of their time with us and leave their children at home. We cannot be responsible for children while treatments are in progress and want to respect the wishes of other clients to have a relaxing experience. We have plenty of appointments during school time as well as after hours and Saturdays to accommodate this. If it is absolutely impossible to come alone, please advise us of this so we can be prepared and schedule accordingly. Parents will be held responsible for any damage caused by their children in the clinic.

Adverse Reactions

Every effort will be made to avoid adverse reactions, this includes; 

  • Comprehensive dermal assessment prior to any treatment 

  • Test patching for new services and sensitive skin types 

  • Providing product testers

  • Clear protocols for use and parameters of treatments including contraindications and situations to be avoided

  • First aid and reaction processes to be following if required 

 

In the event of an adverse reaction, please contact the clinic as soon as possible, either my phone, email or social media message. Advice and support will be provided and you may be invited to come back into the clinic for assessment and follow up treatment if required. 

We are however unable to provide medical advice or advise to take any medications. For severe reactions or illness please seek appropriate medical advice.

Photography & Social Media

Photography is welcomed in the clinic. Please tag us in any content that is shared on social media @theskingeneration_perth.

Images will be taken for all clients and uploaded to your account and deleted from any team personal devices. Images are not to be shared anywhere else other than the business website and/or social media without expressed consent from the client and clinic owner. Consent to capture and share images is included in the patient consent form and will be recorded on your account.

Dispute Resolution

Should a dispute arise between a client and a therapist or the clinic, we strongly encourage the client to contact The Skin Generation by email at holla@theskingeneration.com.au to seek a resolution. Any reasonable requests will be considered, and if required, we will attempt to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.

Delivery within Australia

We charge a $12 regular postage fee within Australia (as varied from time to time and subject to a surcharge for large orders). If you require Express Postage there will be an additional surcharge which will be calculated at the time of your order. It is Your obligation to enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. 

We use all reasonable efforts to dispatch orders within 3 business days of the purchase date. Most orders should arrive within 7 business days after dispatch depending on the destination. It is your responsibility to inform us promptly if an order does not arrive either by emailing holla@theskingeneration.com.au within a reasonable period we will lodge an enquiry with the Australia Post or the courier and advise you of any issues that are discovered.

Unfortunately The Skin Generation does not ship to outside of Australia.

Returns

In addition to your statutory rights, if you change your mind we will happily exchange or refund Your item/s providing the following conditions have been met:

  • The items are returned within 30 days of the purchase date and the original sales receipt is present; and

  • Items must be in original condition as purchased and the product has not been opened or used in any way.

If you return items to us that do not comply with the above requirements, we will return them to you at your cost. On receipt of your product being returned, a refund will be issued back onto the credit card used for purchase, excluding the transaction and shipping fees. If You experience packing problems, please check your items against your receipt. If there are any discrepancies, please email holla@theskingeneration.com.au as soon as possible and within 30 days of purchase date.

Products

Damage - If you receive any products in a damaged condition, We may issue you a credit in the amount paid for the products or send replacement products at our discretion if you notify us within 7 days of the delivery date. We may ask you to provide proof of the damage, as a condition of refund or replacement.

Risk - Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to products passes to you on delivery in accordance with these Terms.

Title - Products ordered by you remain our property until you pay for them in full.

Warranties - To the extent legally permitted, We exclude all conditions, warranties, guarantees and similar, whether express or implied, as to the condition, suitability, quality, fitness or safety of any products or services supplied by us (Warranties), other than those implied by statute which may not be legally excluded. Any liability we may have to you under Warranties implied by statute which cannot be excluded is limited, where expressly permitted by statute, to supplying, or paying the cost of supplying, the products or services again or repairing, or paying the costs of repairing the products, at our option.

Memberships

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions (the "Agreement") outline the terms and obligations for the 12-week skin treatment program, 16 week skin treatment program and the ongoing monthly membership (the "Program") offered by The Skin Generation ("Company"). By participating in the Program, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Program Details

2.1 The 12 week program consists of a 12-week duration, during which participants will receive a series of skin treatments as prescribed by our skincare professionals. The 16 week program consists of a 16-week duration, during which participants will receive a series of skin treatments as prescribed by our skincare professionals. 

2.2 The ongoing monthly membership has a minimum term of 6 months. Early cancellation fees will apply. Early cancellation will be charged at 50% of the remaining minimum term. 

2.3 The specific treatments, schedule, and any included products will be outlined in a personalized treatment plan provided to the participant. This will be subject to change according to the participant’s skin condition on the day of treatment during the course of the program. 

2.4 12 & 16 week programs are non transferrable to another person. 

2.5 Combination treatments cannot be partially redeemed across multiple visits.

2.6 Unredeemed treatments are non-refundable and will be forfeited in accordance with the stated redemption period.

2.7 Bookings must be made for each treatment within the package.

2.8 Exclusive member only specials can not be accumulated and must be used within the allocated time frame.

2.9 Member discounts on products or services can not be used in conjunction with other sales and promotions.

 

3. Participant Requirements

3.1 Participants under 18 years of age must be given consent by their parent or guardian to participate.

3.2 Participants must provide accurate and up-to-date medical information and disclose any existing skin conditions or allergies that could affect the treatment.

 

4. Payment and Fees

4.1 The individual payment details including amount and frequency will be outlined within the treatment plan.  

4.2 Payment must be made in accordance with the payment schedule specified in the treatment plan. Four weekly payments (or equivalent) must be made prior to the first treatment of the program. If this is not possible the first treatment must be paid for up front and regular payments can be commenced moving forward. 

4.3 Failure to make timely payments may result in the suspension or termination of the Program and necessary courses to recoup costs, including legal avenues. 

 

5. Cancellation and Refunds

5.1 Memberships can not be cancelled after the cooling off period of 24 hours.

5.2 Memberships may be placed on suspension for up to a 3 month period in times of financial hardship, personal hardship or serious illness. In this period, no membership benefits can be claimed including discounted products, services, or free member benefits.

5.3 If for documented medical reasons a client cannot continue with their program, the balance of the program can be used against other treatments (excluding retail products).

5.3 No refunds will be provided after the Program has started.

5.4 Booking, Cancellation and No Show policies are all applicable to program participants. If a participant breaches these policies the scheduled service will be counted as used. 

5.5 Cancellation of an ongoing membership must be received in writing and 7 days notice is required. The membership will end on the last calendar day of the month in which the cancellation was requested (past the 7 day notice period). The treatments included in that month will be honoured. 

 

6. Changes to the Program

6.1 The Skin Generation reserves the right to make changes to the Program, including treatments, schedule, and products, as deemed necessary by the treating therapist. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

 

7. Results and Expectations

7.1 Results from the Program may vary based on individual factors, and The Skin Generation  cannot guarantee specific outcomes.

7.2 Participants are expected to follow the recommended skincare regimen and attend scheduled appointments to achieve optimal results. Lifestyle factors also play an important role and cannot be controlled by The Skin Generation or the treating therapist.

8. Liability and Disclaimers

8.1 The Skin Generation shall not be liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or damages resulting from the Program or the use of recommended products. If a genuine allergic reaction occurs to a product it may be returned for an alternative product. 

8.2 Participants acknowledge that the Program is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment and should not be used to diagnose or treat medical conditions.

 

9. Confidentiality and Data

9.1 The Skin Generation will maintain the confidentiality of participant information and data collected during the Program, in accordance with applicable privacy laws.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Western Australia.

 

11. Entire Agreement

11.1 This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or verbal.

By participating in the 12 or 16 week skin treatment program, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
